Counseling

The Reverse Mortgage Application process mandates that you complete counseling with a third-party, HUD approved counselor. This can happen over the phone of face-to-face. The counselor will explain the legal and financial aspects of the program. He or she will answer any additional questions you may have as well as help you understand any alternatives that may be available. We will be happy to provide you with a list of counseling agencies in your area.

Application

Completing the application package will get you started without obligation.

The application will include:

Estimated Total Cost of the Loan
GFE (Good Faith Estimate)
Truth in Lending Act
TALC (Total Annual Loan Cost)
Benefit Summary
Processing

Let us do the work! We will handle all aspects of processing your loan accurately and efficiently. During this phase we will handle all required items including: ordering an appraisal, a flood certificate, credit reports for all borrowers, and any other items needed. Throughout we will keep you informed on the progress of your loan.

Closing and Disbursement

Once your loan is underwritten and approved, we will schedule final signing at your convenience. After a three day rescission period loan funds will be cleared for disbursement.
